About
Our Research
The Neuromuscular Physiology of Human Movement Laboratory focuses on advancing the understanding of exercise related fatigue, performance, and training mechanisms. Our research explores differences across the sexes, the effects of aging, and implications for clinical populations, including individuals with diabetes and COVID-19.
Since 2004, the laboratory has received over $15 million in funding from the National Institutes of Health and other prestigious organizations to investigate muscle fatigue and exercise performance across these diverse groups.
Our laboratory includes undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral research associates and research specialists, all working together to drive innovative discoveries and train the next generation of leading scientists.
