Mia Gramstad is a Junior in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science. In addition to her work in the lab, Mia previously worked as a technology assistant with the Human Performance & Sport Science Center, where she assisted the men’s and women’s varsity basketball strength and conditioning programs using Catapult performance tracking technology. She has also gained clinical and research experience through physical therapy and orthopedic research at Rebound Orthopedics and Neurosurgery, contributing to studies on joint replacement outcomes and patient recovery. Through her research experiences, she has developed a strong interest in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and human performance. Mia is involved with the Michigan Youth Sports Initiative and enjoys working with young athletes through coaching and mentorship.
